As the capacity at BMW of San Francisco expands so does the nonstop advancement in technology and diversity of the BMW brand. Being on the cutting edge of automotive technology makes BMWs one of the most challenging and rewarding to diagnose and repair. Over the past 10 years, BMW has introduced several new automotive technologies including Electric drive, Hybrid electric/gasoline drive, Diesel and countless other technologies which improve the driving experience. While many other car makers out there also have these same technologies, the real question is: are any of them even half as exciting or fun to drive as a BMW? Given the choice, would you rather work on a Prius hybrid or an i8 hybrid? Maintaining this high standard is not an easy task and requires constant learning and growth. Whether you are a service advisor or technician, you need to be at the top of your game to stay relevant. In light of this, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone in the service department for doing what they do day in and day out to rise to the challenges of the BMW brand. After all, the Service Department is the unsung workhorse of the dealership.
